Job Purpose (Job Summary):Responsible to assist & support the ongoing implementation in Security Engineering team. To be able to understand the business & information security requirements in implementing a security solution and configure the controls as defined and approved by stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Assist & Involve in installation, administration, and secure configuration of security solutions
- Assist in the development and documentation of solutions
- Understand the best practices for security solutions and recommend the configurations
- Apply security engineering principles related to building, maintaining, and monitoring secure infrastructure
- Assist in engagements with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that successful deliverables are deployed
Qualification/Skills:
- 0-1 years of work experience in Information Technology or help desk with a preference for security experience.
- A self-starter with a desire to learn.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, accomplishing tasks with limited resources at a rapid pace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in a global environment across multiple time zones.
- Position will require working evening hours.
- Intermediate skill level using Windows Operations Systems
- Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willing to keep up to date and build upon skill and knowledge base.
Formal Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems or related field or equivalent demonstrated experience.
License / Registration / Certification:
- Any Information Security Basics certification or willing to complete the certification in 6 Months.
Working Conditions:
- Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment
- Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by pager and/or cell phone
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally. Frequency and duration to be determined by manager
